Terry is the Chair of The Foundation and Leader of the Labour Group at Warrington Borough Council. His drive and experience in economic, environmental and social regeneration assisted in the development of the stadium, and the establishment of The Foundation.
A very experienced businessman who has held a number of positions in industry including Chief Executive of a quoted public company. Currently a Director of Ensor Holdings PLC, he is also a passionate supporter of Warrington Wolves since childhood.
The Reverend Stephen Kingsnorth
Stephen is a Methodist minister, having worked in Warrington for nearly 20 years, currently in the role of Warrington Borough Ministry. The work includes representing the varied faith communities in town to public and community bodies, building relationships, and helping all to understand the contribution that the faith communities can make to the wellbeing of the town.
John Gartside OBE
John is Chair of NHS Warrington and has extensive senior management and leadership experience in a variety of public services. He is a magistrate in Warrington (appointed 1978) and has a particular interest in the Youth Court. John is a Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire, a Freeman of Warrington and was awarded the OBE in 2000 for services to Warrington. He is also a long standing Warrington Wolves season ticket holder.
Peter Astley MBE
Peter is a Local Authority representative and is responsible for public protection through local Trading Standards, along with environmental health and licensing services. He was awarded an MBE in 2011 for services to consumers in the North West.
Pat worked at Warrington Collegiate for 29 years before retiring from her post as Assistant Principal in 2008. She is now retired but volunteers her time to be a Trustee for Warrington Disability Partnership as well as The Foundation.
Mike is a local, successful businessman and is the Managing Director of Total Steelwork and Fabrication Ltd. He has a passion for the development of Rugby League within the town and has been involved with this for a number of years. He is on the Warrington Wolves Board of Directors and links closely to the work of The Foundation and it’s community programme.
Alan has extensive experience within education and is the former Headteacher of Great Sankey High School, having retired from this post in 2011. He is now the Chair of LiveWire Warrington, and is responsible for leading their Board of Trustees.
Angela specializes in news and sports broadcast reporting, presenting and producing, and also has experience in journalism. She is currently a Rugby League Presenter on Sky Sports and Boots n All. She forms part of our Marketing and Media group and assists in the direction of positive promotion of The Foundation.
