The High Sheriff of Cheshire Bill Holroyd handed out awards to dedicated volunteers in recognition of valuable service to the community.
Alice Kelly and Conor Austin both represent Warrington Wolves Foundation’s Young Trustees and have made a huge impact on their community and overseas.
Both have been on an incredible journey both personal and being part of their Town.
Ex Wolves Director Bill Holroyd was appointed The High sheriff of Cheshire by the Queen to represent her in matters relating to the law and order and spends time supporting voluntary and statutory organisations.
Alice and Conor have been involved with the Wolves Young Trustees, assisting the community programme run by The Foundation and taking their skills and experiences over to the Gambia.
Bill said, “The pinnacle of my year as High Sheriff was a pleasure acknowledging individuals and voluntary groups by presenting them with High Sherif Award. I have been incredibly impressed by these young people of Warrington and the work of the Warrington Wolves, who are still very close to my heart. They do great work using the power of the Wolves to Change lives.They both have an amazing future.”
